Chocolate Empires
The Industrial Age brought a rapid boom in chocolate production. Fortunes were won as world-famous brands were established. Competition amongst firms was intense. Fry, Cadbury, Hershey, Mars, Nestle, Lindt, Rowntree - the names of these empires are all familiar. Learn about their colourful histories while enjoying Guild Chocolate confections that have been inspired by these brands' signature creations.

The Edwardian Era was a period of decadence and luxury. While the ruling elite tried to solidify their power and maintain their extravagant lifestyles, the winds of change were afoot as the working classes began to challenge landed privilege. In 1912, Great Britain was the most powerful nation in the world, and The Titanic was the largest ship on water. At this tasting, you will learn about the Edwardians and sample all of the desserts served on the Titanic during its final night afloat.
